I was doing research for an illustration, "Jonah and the Whale". I think this photo is incredible... Posted by Picasa

Cirque Du Soleil

I found a photograph in the newspaper, and I thought it was SO COOL. I spent 80 hours drawing it in Illustrator. The face was illustrated in Photoshop and it was easier to develop the reflection of the clown in PS as well. Posted by Picasa

Downtown Tampa

...with the 7UP can! I think this is kinda cool. And that much more refreshing! Do you think? Posted by Picasa

Downtown Tampa

Based on artwork for Electric Company...that you can completely change the emotional charge of a piece of artwork with a different color scheme is intriguing. Posted by Picasa

The Power of Michealangelo

I am a big fan. This is the Syrian. She is a detail in the Systine Chapel. Pardon my spelling, I will have to double check. From research, the "Syrian" is said to have premonated the birth of Christ. Interesting to me is the angle of the publication she is holding resembles the angle of an angels wings. What is going on with this headdress she is wearing, I would love to know. And why is the scarf caught underneath the footstool? I think she is absolutely beautiful. I am inspired. Posted by Picasa

Egyptian Princess

This is an ancient egyptian statue with PR's face. Just for fun, couldn't resist. This is the power of PS (PhotoShop). You should see what I can do with Moose antlers... Posted by Picasa

MIRSS Logo

There does already exist a MIRSS logo. Do we like it? NO. The PM would like a logo for the team for certain reasons including spirit. Team spirit. Now what the rat has anything to do with anything...It wasn't mean and ugly enough for him. I have a hard time making mean and ugly. He wanted a gun and ammo and lots of way complex gadgets. I'm thinking Ninja Turtle. A little hand to hand combat, and this rat is going to kick your hypothetical butt! Posted by Picasa

Magic 8 Ball

Go ahead and laugh! This Magic 8 Ball has proven to be true. Maybe it's the abundance of RF waves? Posted by Picasa

Moonlit Desert

2D Illustration. What kind of response does it evoke? I'm curious to know if there is any at all... I used to have dreams about red mountains rising out of the desert floor. There was a door hidden in the face mountains, I don't know where it led to. Posted by Picasa

Fusion

This is the semi-final concept for the Fusion Logo. This concept was produced from an abstract idea supplied by the Program Manager. There is a whole dimension of concept behind all elements of this piece. The Fusion program itself is based upon a concept of light. Posted by Picasa

Scientific Illustration

This is one of my favorite diagrams. Finding a way to love every aspect of what you do is personal success, especially when it's at the simplest level. It's only a pictoral diagram, but it's the coolest pictoral diagram I've ever put together. Posted by Picasa

TPS Brochure

My product line brochure is a success. So much so, that I immediately need to create several key brochures featuring specific products. Lesson learned: Make the covers different for each one, so that the customer doesn't think they are the same thing. What to do about the different sizes of the products? TPS is small, however the next product is larger. The product line was designed to scale when possible, here however I think it may cause confusion. Product dimensions will need to be included in the publication. Posted by Picasa

Outpost

I don't particularly care for this version of the design. I do think that it might have some potential as an etched metal tag. Strategically placed on hats and canvas bags could prove to be interesting. Posted by Picasa

Outpost Surveillance

Several designs were sketched for Outpost. I am very affectionate about my bear. He wasn't used in the final concept design, however I have found a use for him under other circumstances. I'll show you sometime. Posted by Picasa
